President - Asma Maloumi

President@oxfordacs.org

As President, it is my responsibility to lead and oversee the day-to-day running of the society and make sure that we are consistently delivering on what our members want and need out of their ACS. Ensuring that the ACS remains a space where members can enjoy themselves and find a home away from home with us, my vision is to strengthen our community and increase engagement with the ACS by making sure we always have something for everyone! As a society, we will continue delivering on our access & outreach initiatives, and enhance our relationship with our sponsors to ensure the long term growth and longevity of our society.

Welfare Officers

Academic and social life at Oxford can be at times difficult, with added pressures that come with coming from a black or ethnic minority background. The welfare team is the support system of our society, offering endless help, advice, and support to our members to ensure nobody has to endure these pressures alone. Part of this involves welfare events designed to allow members to relax, feel seen, and connect with each other on meaningful levels.
